This publication will provide comprehensive information about the organization of research and development in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, its role and position in the structure of the national economy, the principles of planned management of the research and development network -especially from the point of view of putting in effect the interests of society as a whole- and about the characteristics features of the progress of experts in research and about the organization of their training.
