If you're looking for "the facts" about interest-groups (numbers, distribution, etc.), this is not the place to find them. What I first attemp is to clear up that muddle over terms and definitions which at present allows, for instance, "pressure group", "lobby", and "interest-group" to be given different meanings by different writers. If you follow me in the attemp, you will get two things for the price of one: you will learn not only about the subject ("the facts" in the more importante sese of relationships) but also handling problems of definitions and of the choice and formations of concepts.
