From its inception as a pilot project in 2003 to its implementation as a fully funded program in 2006, Campusdirect has been a leader in delivering learning to the desktops of federal government employees in Canada.Campusdirect is the Canadian federal government's centralized portal to deliver online learning to public service employees. Today, Campusdirect provides access to over 300 online courses, supports communities of practice, leads facilitated online workshops, and creates departmental learning portals. Using a strategy that has always focused on working with client organizations, Campusdirect has entered into key partnership agreements with provincial and municipal levels of government. And governments around the world - Brazil, China, Mexico, the United Kingdom - have turned to Campusdirect for expertise and advice on starting their own e-learning programs.Campusdirect's success is built on the strength of its people and its partners. The story of how we started, what we learned, where we are today, and our vision for the future is presented in the case study that follows.
